About Me
Audrey Lamb, native of Mooresville, NC, earned her BA in Dance and BS in Business Administration from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. There she studied under Stephen Hanna, Bret Shuford, Gretchen McLaine, Kristin Alexander, and Leslie Jones to name a few. She performed with Annex Dance Company in the Spoleto Festival. Audrey choreographed two years for the college's student choreographed concert, Chapel Moves! She found her passion for choreography after working at Anne-Marie's Academy of Dance where she has choreographed competition dances for all ages including solos, duets, small and large groups.
Audrey's intense training began at at the Cary Ballet Conservatory at the age of two. She spent the majority of her dance career on the competition team at Lake Norman Dance Gallery. She auditioned for and was awarded the Jean and Tap Johnson Theatre and Dance Scholarship her freshman year at the College of Charleston, which allowed her to attend the college of her dreams as a dance major. The summer of 2017 she received her
200-hr Yoga certification at Holy Cow Yoga Center. Audrey is thrilled to embark on her journey as a professional independent artist. She looks forward to making connections with other artists, collaborate, create and teach in the Charleston area. Audrey is always eager to travel to set choreography for competition teams around the US. Explore her site and check out her past and recent performances.

Artist Statement
I believe the ability to captivate an audience with movement while relating to the audience on a personal level is what makes dance so powerful. As a dancer and choreographer, I strive to develop movement that embodies both of these characteristics. In my choreographic work, I aim to balance dancers’ technical capabilities with an element of dramatic narrative. My work is inspired mostly by music and my own personal life experiences. From these sources, I begin to develop my ideas by selecting symbols that move me in the process of creating dance.
